Professor Wanyan is Director of the China Insurance Development Research Center at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Chief Insurance Expert at the China Judicial Big Data Research Institute, and a Research Fellow at the Ministry of Education’s Data Rule of Law Laboratory. He previously served in the Development and Reform Department of the former China Insurance Regulatory Commission and brings extensive experience spanning insurance regulation, health insurance research, actuarial practice, and commercial insurance strategy.

In Part I of our discussion, we focus on the evolving negotiation dynamics surrounding China’s C-List. In Parts II and III, we move from central negotiation dynamics to early rollout and implementation insights, including what these developments may imply for future commercial pull-through.
